My journey into the world of health and wellness began at a very young age when as a child I learned how important it is to take an active role in your emotional and physical wellbeing. At the age of four my father, who to this day is an avid bodybuilder and supplement enthusiast, started me on an exercise program and vitamin regiment. At the age of eight I was introduced to martial arts which peaked my interest in Acupuncture when I saw a poster in the dojo studio of Acupuncture points. This fascinated me as I always had an affinity to gravitate towards Asian practices and mythology. Initially, I intended to learn Acupuncture to help my grandmother with arthritis and my mother to fight cancer. I so wanted to help them be better. To this day, I bring that same drive to each of my patients.
I have studied all over the country and continue to broaden my knowledge each day through the care I provide to my patients and more formally with continuing education courses. I received my 4 year Masters degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Studies from Pacific College in San Diego in 2001. What I love about Acupuncture is its flexibility. It can help with both present day symptoms and long term health. My specialties include but are not limited to pain and stress management, sleep disorders and overall health maintenance including weight loss and relaxation.
In my free time, first and foremost, I enjoy and take great pride in being a husband to my lovely wife. I exercise and meditate daily. I am an avid foodie and love frequenting new restaurants. I love to cook and brew teas. I enjoy basketball, MMA and pro wrestling. I am a big gamer. I revel in long rides on my motorcycle especially in the Fall.
